get down with the sickness......

what a month.... between being sick and staying up late I'm exhausted!! -k-, so sherry was "blessed" with a bout of tonsillitis, it sucked, huge walnut sized tonsils, big white spots, sore throat, 103 degree fever, the works... but she's much better now....(thank the almighty)


Cory was also "blessed" with phlaritis, something like that, basically a sore throat, which escalated into a fever, and then, you'll never guess, pink eye.. and just when it seemed the end of the sick, he got pink eye in his other eye......poor fella....


Nikoy hasn't had much since the last 103 degree fever, but she has been getting these spontaneous broken bones "mommy my legs broked" "mommy my finger broked" it's really silly, anything for attention, love em to death.....


Kaylee is not sick, she's not terribly whiny, but she is being so good at telling me when she thinks she needs to go to bed.. she'll come up to me with her blanket in one hand and her drink in the other and say, "nye nye" and she'll turn and walk into her room..and if i don't follow her to put her into her crib then....she gets a bit more forceful... by which i mean screaming "MOMMY!" at the top of her lungs until i come put her to bed... oy vey.. anywho... really not a lot else to report on, Cory and i get to get dressed up and go to a fun award ceremony for Cory's squadron on the 29Th, "formal attire" and all! it'll be fun, I'm going to spend LOTS of time on my hair, cuz i have lots of hair now..it's grown so long! it's about to the middle of my back now and i want to cut it,,,,but i don't... so i wont...Nikoys hair is about to the middle of her back too, and i will not cut it... it's too beautiful... Kaylee's hair is about shoulder length and getting lighter and lighter every day!my beautiful blonde's! so yeah.. that's our month in a nut shell....sorry so short, but enjoy the few pics i managed to take..!! loves!

shop shop shop, i'd put a million or 3 away for schooling and weddings and stuff for my children, we'd have our own personal jet we could go anywhere anytime! i'd have a summer home in hawaii! and oh it would be awesome!

update...nothing special....

so you'll never guess who we've recently met... :) ..... LT. DAN! .. cory had a honor guard detail
and gary selise.. (i cant spell) attended. i wasmt planning on getting in the picture, i took one of the honor guard with him, and then turned to walk away and he decided he wanted a picture with me so i figured why not? amd we a;so got to meet with the ..( give me a moment...) cheif master sergant of the airforce.....i cant remember his name....parish i think.....it was a nice quiet evening, full of...events.. :)...
cory's hand is healing quite nicely he'sgot most his
range of motion, next step is to work on his strength again.. it'll come!
they've got him working swing shifts so we've been up pretty late, he's unfortunatly had to give up boyscouts because of his job, but im sure he'll find other ways to occupy his time...
i am doing wonderfully enough. sometiems it seems theres not enough time in the day, and others it seems i have to much time on my hands...either way i keep myself busy... the girls are experts at wasting time... im bored, and all i need to do is go into nikoys room and build a castle of blocks with her and kaylee and suddenly its bed time! kaylee is the smiliest little princess in the world, i cant get enough of her smiles!shes always willing to give a smile! she's gotten so good at talking, she kind of says "love you" but it comes out more of a "nu-noo" the love you...we'll have to work on that.. she's very polite as well, she always says thank you, you give her a sucker "deedoo " ( which is kaylee for "thank you"..) you pick her up and hug her "deedoo" you make her eat her peas "deedoo" even when it's really not appreciated, she still says thank you... now if only we could get her to say please.....
Nikoy, unfortunalty woke up on the 7th, of february with a 103 degree fever, and has been very much the drama queen since, "mommy i want my blankie" i tell her its down by her feet, she says " i want you to get it!" .........i dot think so. she has her ups and downs today the fever didnt hit untill after lunch, at which point she laid on the couch and watched our newest disney movie "aristocats." which she watches at least 2 times a day! she's walks around the house singing, "everybody wants to be a cat, i want to be a cat, everybody wants to be a cat, yah man!" and she's terribly excited for 101 dalmations to come out in march!

kitty cat (formerly known as jasmine) is taken to us all, she loves the girls and seems to tolerate me, you should see my arms they are covered in cat scratches! but i still love her.... in fact, she seems quite content to just sleep in my lap right now......

anywho. thats it for now... nothing else to share... we'll be going home at some point this summerish, so we're looking forward to that.... anywho.. gotta go! loves to you alll!!!!!!

another year another wrinkle...

first off, i wanted to share Nikoy's first smiley face, drawn, unfortunately on an etchasketch type thingy, rather then a piece of paper! ain't it cute?

so, we spent the weekend down in Heidelberg! it was so much fun! the castle was beautiful! so many pictures so little time! the girls enjoyed themselves even though it was pretty chilly! the wind wasn't helping! but the scenery was beautiful.we went with a few friends, and we all really enjoyed ourselves!

the girls of course were ever popular among the fellow tourists! (especially the Chinese/ Japanese travelers! gotta love the blond hair blue eyed beauties!) at every turn there was someone wanting a picture of the cute American kids! what a culture shock! you cant open your eyes back in the states without seeing a blond! (whether or not, they're a true blond, is a whole different matter)

Nikoy and Kaylee made so many friends at the castle between the Germans and other various tourists! we had to keep a close eye on both of them! they are such friendly little girls! why cant the world be like this? I don't know you, you look different, and I have no idea what your saying, but you can be my friend anyways!
the view from the castle was amazing! you could see the entire city! and the architecture was beautiful, most the houses looked like little miniature castles themselves!! from what we were told, this bridge in the background was used in the movie triple X.... we haven't seen it for a while, but apparently the city's famous for the bridge!

we couldn't read what this stone says on it ( no one in our party spoke German!) but it was awfully fun to hide behind!

the courtyard was beautiful! a great place to stop and relax and smell the fresh air! for being the middle of January, the grass is still a beautiful shade of green! and yes we are planning on going back when the weather was better, and warmer, and definatly sunnier!
they had these beer kegs that were huge! how anyone can drink that much I'll never understand!

this keg went all the way to the ceiling! and there was another room that was huge! and the only thing in it was an enormous keg! that took up the hole room! there was just enough room to walk in fill up a pitcher and walk out!

the girls of course took every opportunity to be cute, Kaylee loved her Capri sonnes ( we're in Germany remember??) and Nikoy would run somewhere and strike a pose and yell "mommy take my picture!" and mommy would be more then happy to oblige!

the sunset from the castle courtyard was beautiful! absolutely breath-taking! we had so much fun on this trip! and we cant wait to go on another one! a perfect end to a perfect day!

it's almost christmas!

-k- so it's almost christmas!! yay sherry managed to finally break cory and we got a family kitten (sherry considered it an early christmas!) she's a beautiful little black fuzzball named jasmine! yes nikoy named her! sherry has fallen completely for her, she cant take 3 steps without being attacked by the fuzzball...cory's doesnt much care for it, but..he'll learn.. (n_n) hehe ...

we also had 2 christmas parties on one day! wooh! we had cory's work party which was fun, they had a dinner and some games and some white elephant gifts.... and stuff...nikoy and kaylee sat on santa's lap! nikoy had fun and yelled for a bike, kaylee cried and reached for mommy...

then at the ward party we got to be festive and dress up in biblical times.. they had light snacks... and told the story of jesus's birth, and then we all went home.......it was nice i guess...

so, yeah..

well, on a more, irritating note... our car is in the shop...AGAIN!! hopefully for the last time.. it wouldnt be so bad except that we are having to pay for all these repairs in euro, which is getting quite expensive.. the going rate from euro to dollers is about 65 euro cents is equal to one doller... so, when we pull 20 euros out of our account it actually pulls out 30 dollers....ouch...so we lose 10 bucks! and thats hurts.. so yeah.. ...anywho..

we are so ready for christmas to get here, nikoy has seen santa a few times and proudly announces to the entire store at the top of her lungs that she wants a new bike! at least she's not asking for a pony! kaylee's not quite good enough at talking to tell us what she wants, so we took her to the toy store and set her down and watched..she gave us a few good ideas!! she's getting so much better though! she's so silly! she'll do something naughty and sherry will say " do you need some time out?" and kaylee says no, and then walks over to the corner and leans her head against it and pouts for a minute or 2, then she walks away.. sucha goose.

cory is coming along. he can use his hand a little bit, at least he was able to bring up the groceries the other day! we are excited to get his pins out, then he'll be in a removable cast, he'll go to physical therapy 2-3 times a week and we'll see if he gets any feeling back in his thumb and first finger! he's getting a fun thing from "santa" (more like MRS. clause actually...) and he needs both his hands for it, so he's excited..

and sherry? well, she's just happy to be here.

And then there was a tree!

Hello to all.

We are doing great, getting ready for the Chirstmas Hoildays and trying to beat the rush. We set up our tree late, late thanksgiving night, and Sherry and I awoke to Nikoy standing at our bed telling us that there is a tree in our front room! Sherry asked her where it came from, and She respondedwith Daddy put it there! Sherry asked Are you sure? and she said Shocked, "Wow it growed!" So we all got up and put up lights, bells and balls. We went out and let the girls get a new special orniment for the tree!








We think it was a good choice! We found it at a Chirstmas Bazar off base. It says 2007 on the other side in pretty gold!
with a silk screened santa on the front!








Overall I think we have a very nice tree this year and so does Nikoy and Kaylee !
As for other things Cory is healing slowly but he is working hard to get his strength back,,, sometimes to hard. We are finally sleeping through the night now that he is not tossing and turning so much throughout the night. He is working in the Production control at is shop, he orders all the equipment needed for the machanics. It is difficult for him, because he is trying to push to fast. Yesterday he was at work all day, then he went to Honor Guard, then he came home, inhaled dinner and was off to scouts! of course as things go, we got a phone call just before he left, it was the scout master saying he had to work late and cory was in charge that night! ...no rest for the weary.... so cory got home and him and sherry stayed up till midnight putting together some new ABU's ( airman battle uniform) for cory. it's much easier then the normal BDU's (battle dress uniform) the difference is the BDU's are the typical black, brown, tan and green colors, the ABU's are blue and green and grey really dull colors, sherry loves them though, they bring out cory's eyes.... :)...and they only have the stripes on the sleeves and the maintenace badge and the name tapes ("anderson" and "Airforce") so only five things to sew on instead of seven or eight. (yay!!)

The girls are growing so fast you could messure them everyday and they'll have grown inches!!! kaylee has added "bye-bye" and "no" to her vocabulary. which as of now consists of "hi, mom, dad, owie, bonk," dad's favorite "yeah", and mommies fave,"what?" kaylee has almost outgrown all her 18 month outifts... she's got such a big head!! nikoy is out growing the length of all her outfits, but the width is terribly baggy....it's like we are constantly buying them clothes!

Sherry is slowly losing her mind..but then again thats nothing new... she's learned she has a pinched nerve in her shoulder and if she really wants to she can go through some physical therapy to get rid of it (but who has the time...or the car???) they think with some various streches and some deep tissue massages it'll be fixed in no time....which is exactly what we have...no time....
