6 years and counting..

so Cory and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary yesterday! (the 29th..:D and yes this will get mushy..deal with it..) and I will say, I love my Cory more now then I did 6 years ago..:D.. i didnt think it possible. but its true.. he has done so much to make sure my dreams come true.. i've never cared for a career. i've never even cared for a degree. you dont need a degree to be a mom, and thats all i've ever wanted to be. and thanks to his sacrifces, i get to be a mom and stay home to raise my kids. the only reason i'd ever get a job now, is because i want one (i dont). he's done so much to provide for our family, and he still manages to be an amazing father! our girls are such big daddy's girls its amazing! they already know if they want it bad enough they go sit on daddy's lap give him a hug, and they've got him wrapped around thier little fingers..

we celebrated by dropping our girls off at angela and jeromes house (thier blog is on my list, look em up! thier an awesome couple!) and we went and watched the new wolverine movie (romantic eh?) it was really good, now if you've ever read the comic book "origins" then you may be disappointed, but keep in mind, it is a movie.. as a movie, its REALLY good..:) then we went to the mexican cantina, and i had a super tasty burrito, cory had a terribly juicy and really yummy steak! it was really good, and kinda nice to have a somewhat quiet meal without yellin at the girls to eat, or sit down, or quit climbing on your sister...then we went and picked up the girls, and chatted with angela and jerome for a while, then we went home and went to bed cause our chat turned into an almost 2 hour conversation...:) angela was sweet enough to take these pictures as proof that my girls werent tortured..:) they look tortured dont they?
mmmmmmm pizza!
oh the torture!!
wait dinner AND a movie!..awesome!
so yeah. yesterday was a fantastic day! and just the nice quiet day i needed... today however....is a whole different matter... cory woke up this morning to get ready for work and ended up walking me up to tell me the fire alarm was going off.....AGAIN... we have weekly fire drills and its getting realllllllly old... they blame it on the faulty alarm systems....thats comforting..... so we got up at 6 and figured rather then sit out in the cold and wait for the fire department to get around to turning off the alarms, we took cory to work. then we came home and decided we were still tired and blessedly the girls actually went back to sleep.. so i thought JACKPOT!! so i went and tried for a nap, and alas...my upstairs neighbors are the most inconsiderate people known to mankind..all day everyday i hear STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP. thats not so bad, its irriataing, but i can manage to ignore it.. however, today for about 2 and a half hours it sounded like they were stacking up thier furnature and knocking it all over again! then stacking it up and knocking it all over again! over...over..about 10-15 minutes of drag, squeak drag, and then one loud CRASH!!!!! and then 10-15 minute of drag squeak drag and then one loud CRASH! and then you could hear the mom screaming at her kids, and then you could hear the kids yellin at thier mom and then theres this awful sound of a temper tantrum, and moms yelling and kids are screaming and whatever is crahing is still being dragged across the floor, and no matter how many times i've been up there to remind them they dont live here alone, thye continue to get louder... so i've called the MP's and they tell me to call housing.. i call housing and they tell me to call the MP's........ so my sweet and amazing husband has decided he's going to have a chat with her hubby and remind him that i am due to have a baby here in about 6 weeks, and its hard enough for me to ignore the stomping, the least they could do is rough-house OUTSIDE. they can be as noisy as they want to OUTSIDE. take em outside.. so yes.. he's going to nicely remind the husband to remind his wife that she needs to show a little more control...if i can do it at 8 months pregnant..she can do it too.
all the more reason im madly in love with my Cory. he's my superman...and im his damsel in distress....
i even got curious and went down to talk to the people living below us and she assured me she has no complaints about us.. she says she never hears stomping, and our tv has never bothered her, and she never hears raised voices, and she thanked me!! ...and i thanked her back...:) so if i can manage to keep my children under control, why cant the upstairs people?? so i have made a solemn vow, and i made cory make the same vow.. we will live in a box in a field somewhere before i allow us to live in another apartment building... if need be, we'll rent a house.. or a town home....i will not have people living above me anymore... so yeah... anywho. i get to go out for some shopping therapy now..:) nothing special, just groceries and perhaps a donut or two from the bakery......:) but still..its shopping, and im away from here for an hour or two, so.. yeah.. anywho... love you all be safe! and i apologize for any mispelled words it seems the spellchecker is gone kaput.. and im to tired to care...:D

wow...

so we finally heard back from the MEB board, in novemberish cory went into MEB status and the whole process is supposed to take about 2 - 3 months... well five months later we finally got the results, and we were less then happy with them.. it appears the military wants to separate him. they'd give him an honorable discharge, and some disability pay, but we'd be starting back at square one. granted cory now has money for school, but we'd be uninsured, and with our girls and thier clumsiness, and a new baby, we NEED insurance. so we are now talking about what we want to do. we have decided that cory will be going to san antonio to try to appeal it and we will go on from there, and depending on what happens at the appeal, will determine our next move... they'll either return him to duty, and he'll train into a different job, or they'll decide the air force no longer needs him.. and when we know what they decide we'll make the next move.. so it could be a few weeks before he is called to san antonio. we're hoping he can at least take nikoy with him, that would make things easier on me at least.. although being separated will be hard on the girls.. they've never been apart for more then a few hours.. and cory could be gone a week, or more.. so we'll see!
we had a baby appointment yesterday, little shaun is doing fantastically! the doctor agrees with us, that with all that is going on the baby needs to be earlier then he's due, although theres not much we can really do about it. other then pray he's ready to be born two or even 3 weeks early, they are already estimating his wieght at fivish pounds, and with 6 weeks left till im 37 weeks, which is when the doctor feels he'll be ready to pop out, he could easily gain another 2 pounds, we're hoping for 3, and he'll be a happy healthy full term boy! so we'll see... after the appointment we went to the dermatology clinic and managed to get me some relief, i had what i thought was an enormous zit, as it turned out it was a very painful cyst, so they got rid of it, and it doesnt look like much right now, but it sure feels better.. hopefully within the next week or so it'll look better too..:D anywho, afterwards we went to dinner with some friends and then we went to the friends house to play some guitar hero......:) good stress relief.. we got home to discover we'd missed a few calls from family, so we spent the rest of the night talking to family members. so all in all we are ok. :) we're happy, we're healthy and as of right this second, thats what counts.....

happy easter!!

:) happy easter everyone!! a little late i know. I did it on purpose.. anywho, We hope everyones easter was as fun as ours!! we had a great time!! the girls woke us up bright and early, and while the easter bunny (daddy) hid a few eggs around the front end of the house i helped the girls decorate thier very own easter bags!
they turned out way cute! as usual.. i thought it was cute that nikoys stickers are all over her bag and kaylees are all in a row..:) well as soon as the easter bunny gave the word the hunt began!

the girls had so much fun!

the eggs were hidden everywhere, some were hard some were easy.. the bunny did a good job..:D

the girls even had a bunch of non-candy treats..:D that was the easter bunny's wifes idea...:D

we found these pretty plastic eggs with dinsey princess keychains in them.. nikoy got aurora and Kaylee got cinderella..:D as usual..

these were by far the girls favorite treats, unfortunatly they didnt stay big long.. they were pretty broken up by the end of the hunt..

see the joy on thier faces?? whats more fun then a sugar hunt?

checkin our booty....yar..:)

i think they got a good load...

after the hunt we got ready for church, and ended up getting there really early because as we were getting ready the buildings fire alarm went off.......again......our building has problems the alarms go off almost weekly, and the fire department gets mad when we ignore the alarm and stay inside, but our excuse is "we do this weekly, were pretty well practiced...and if there was a real fire in the middle of the afternoon we'd all know it..." they still get mad and we tell them we have better things to do with our time then practice fire drills... so its fun cuz most of the firemen are germans, and they get really mad and terribly rude, one tried to argue with me once and i pulled the pregger card and told them if i got sent into premature labor from having to walk up and down all the stairs over and over, because every time someone sprays hair spray or fabreeze the alarms go off, they'd be hearing it from my full bird colonel doctor...and that shut them up pretty quick... anywho...back to easter..:D.. we got ready for church, got kicked out cause the alarms went off, so we figured, meh, we'll be early! so we got to church about 45 minutes early... it was nice we had our pick of the benches..:) and after church we did a few outside pictures..

oddly enough kaylee was the cooperative one, nikoy sat there and looked tired... "smile nikoy" "im tired, the suns in my eyes.." the sun was almost behind her... oy..

so cory got in cuz he's daddy, and the girls are BIG daddys girls so they got a special picture together..

then it dawned on me, i have my teeny tri-pod in my bag so i grabbed it set the timer and got in too...:) arent we all pretty? anywho, we went upstairs and i started on dinner (potatos and stuffing and whatnot, the ham had been in the crockpot since before church..) we changed into play clothes and waited, we had some friends who were coming for dinner and when they showed up we ate! and it was delicious if i dont say so myself..:D anywho, after dinner we chatted for a while, played some games, and then our friends left and we got ready for bed! what a day. it also signaled the end of cory's leave...sad.. we enjoyed our week with daddy, not having to share him with the military. anywho.. so that was that..:)
you may have noticed a few things missing.. my links list is shorter..i made the mistake of redoing my background and i forgot to save my list again, so give it a bit and if your link isnt up yet it means i cant find it and i need a new link... so send it!! :) my baby countdown thing is gone too, theres been a few glitches and its driving me crazy cuz its pink and only pink... and i wont have my son framed in pretty pink... so when they bring blue or green back i'll get my counter back, so just to let you know as of right this second i am 30 weeks pregnant! only 10 more!! (give or take...) so yeah. amd i apologize now for any bad grammar/spelling, my spell checker seems to be on strike. so.. sorry..

whatta week!!!!

ok first off, it's been one heck of a week! cory was FINALLY able to take leave starting monday after working a month straight of 16-18 hour shifts having the occassional sunday afternoon off..... but the good news is all the inspections that they were doing went fantastically! his shop passed with flying colors!! so hooray!....anywho, monday and tuesdays went by without a hitch, we sat around and were lazy all day...:D... well i had to get up early tuesday because i went to see the dermotologist about my face..he agrees its not rosacea!! YAY! its called perioral dermatitis...and thankfully its easier to treat then roscea, however, its not easy to treat when pregnant......*sigh*.. so the doc found something that seems to be making it at least calm down, i dont feel like im a lepar any more..... anywho, so i got the girls these way cute hats and they LOVE them... so i took pictures...

Kaylee(^^) as usual has to try to run from the camera.... oy.. and nikoy actually smiled for me... granted the cats looking a little disgruntled...

we also decided since cory and i got fun "toys" with our tax return our girls should get something out of it too, so we went ahead and bought them each a Vsmile handheld Vtech gameboy thingamabob.. lets just say THEY LOVE THEM! they never put them down..unless the batteries die...im just going to say, whoever invented recharable batteries should be knighted.......

kaylee's had a hard time figuring it out but she's getting there!!

anywho..

wednesday we decided to completely spotlesize the house, which sucked because after being so lazy all day monday and tuesday,...we had our work cut out for us.. :D so we managed to get 90% of the house clean, and we called it a night, had some dinner, thursday was AWESOME!!! we got up and finnished what we had left of the housework, and decided to go out and about and have some fun! so we decided since the gartenschau (garden show) in kaiserslautern was opened for the season we'd go have a looksee! and it was well worth the 12 euro we paid to get in!! (children under 6 are free...

they had pretty gardens to walk through (hence the name "garden show") with LOTS of photo ops!

I love tri-pods and timers... wish i had my wireless remote....:D (hint hint cory)

cory actually took this picture, proving he's got just as much of an eye for art as anyone else i know..

the girls found an old phone booth and it was cute..

and i LOVED this statue, if i had a garden this would be my center peice... its so cute!!!

nikoy and kaylee posing on a giant rat....thingy...
now we're walking across the bridge, lets go see some dinosaurs!!

cory and the girls sitting on an ancient aligator thingy..dont ask me what these are called, i am NOT smarter then a fifth grader...:D and dont worry it cant bite, cory's holding the mouth shut, see?

and anyways its not real..

pretty flowers...again "garden show"..

awww dinosaur love...

this was a cool scene, the brachiosaurs are trying to protect thier baby from the naughty alosaurus! (the actual names of these dinosaurs may be wrong, do i look like a dinosaur expert??)

i loved these flowers, they smelled SOOOOOOOOOOO good!

this is one of my favie dinosaurs, its a toss up between stegosaurs and ankylosaurs...notice the pregger tummy...yeah...its there....

he he, my superman takin on a torosaurus! its part of the triceratops family...
see? i learned...

this is one fella i wouldnt want to meet in a dark alley...

the girls HATED this! they may look happy and smiling, but thats only because cory's on his way over to save them from the hungry dinosaur head....

he saved the girls, but got himself digested,,,

:) whenever we go to the zoo corys always pulled towards the rhino's so it only seemed appropriate to take his picture with the ancient ansestor!

this was just a cool stone thing sitting in the middle of a grassy field, i dunno if we were suposed to touch it, but we did anyways...

this was nikoys favorite flower at the show, its called a pink diamond...very pretty huh?

now we're walking towards the playground... nice view huh?? :D

good ancient doggy....

cory took the girls down this HUGE slide that looked terrifying. kaylee came out without a scratch or bump but she didnt want to do it again..

nikoy came out backwards and upsidedown....she refused to even go near it again...

but she did seem ok with climbing the rope ladder.. untill she looked down..

lots of rope stuff...

kaylee enjoyed the giant sand box...

and cory was just being his usual yummy self...

i sat and watched from the sidelines..:D

they had these awesome swings that were like those bird nests that hang from the trees, the girls climbed in through a hole in the bottom, and...

sat comfortably while it gently swayed, cuz the mom of the 8 year old next to nikoy freaked out that her son was scared of heights and therefor none of the other kids could have fun...

nikoy and her daddy on the cool springy...thing..

they had a big wooden dinosaur that the girls got to climb all over too.. thankfully we got out of it splinter free..

then it was time for a game of tag!

daddy won.....

yay! icecream!!

so after an awesome time of running playing screaming and icecream eating, we let the girls each pick a souvenier, nikoy got the cute duck looking dinosaur,

and kaylee got her pink "sara-tops"

(more pretty flowers..)

so that was our thursday, we walked back to the car, and went home, cory grilled some steaks, we sat and watched a movie together and it was nice... so friday, (oh today!!) we got up at o'dark thirty (about 7 this morning...:D its too early for me..) and cory had an appointment, after his appointment we went swimming and we learned that 9 am is the PERFECT time to hit the pool! the lap lanes are normal, but the kiddie section was empty, the girls had the whole pool to themselves!! after swimming we went and had lunch, and then cory had another appointment, we finnished with that and we went to the BX (military store kinda like kmart..it sucks just as bad.) and then we came home ate dinner played some halo and now im updating a blog, and wondering, why now? its five to midnight, and sunday is easter which tells me i'll be updating again mondayish, so,, oh well huh? anywho.. i would like to announce that as of monday (april 13th) i'll be 30 weeks along! and the baby is doing FANTASTIC! he's kickin like a pro, wakes me up at about the same time every morning with the thrashing and kicking and he must have changed positions because im starting to get the annoying foot in the ribcage...*sigh*... other then the petty annoyances all is well and good!!! and no, still NOTHING on cory's MEB, hopefully soon...hopefully.... anywho, i'll be hitting the hay now, im tired... :D.. LOVES YOU ALL!!
