*O_O* so much to tell...

so memorial weekend was amazingly long! and so much fun!! so Friday started the weekend off, Cory got off work a bit early and we had a yummy picnic with his shop! it was great fun! lots of bratwurst's and schwanks and German barbecue stuff mmmmm tasty...:) Saturday, was VERY eventful, i got up and cleaned up my house a bit, because I knew my best pals, Angela and Merritt were coming to get me for lunch and I wanted to get everything done before they got here, so i cleaned and cleaned, and around noon i got a phone call saying they were on their way! so i got ready and when they got here we left! well as it turned out, Angela said she'd meet us at Merritt's and we'd have to go back and pick her up, so we got to Merritt's, and decided it would be better to wait inside the nice cool house then out in the hot car, so we walked in and this is what i found.....

SURPRISE!!!!!! its a baby shower for me!!!!! oh my gosh i was totally surprised, i wasn't even really suspecting anything...other then food! but people too?! it was fantastic!! i felt terribly loved... and all my favie ward members were there..:D well most of them..the ones that count. ;D he he he...

still getting over the shock...

as i recovered we decided to play a few games, there was a "whats sherry wearing" game, and food, and pictionary, while eating food..:D there was lots of food..

its a diaper!! no no, dirty diaper!! no no! DESITIN!!(what?)! yay!! pictionary is definatly one of my favie games...

one word...sounds like.....

i got to draw a bottle of prenatal vitamins....i prefer Flintstones myself....

then it was present time!! i got so much that i really needed! and i still want to thank everyone!!!

lots of diapers, baby soap, towels onsies! so much!! thank you all!!

i didn't want to cut it, but i had to... it makes the eating of it easier...

then i had to get my fix...... (dont worry its a box of chocolates....:D)

after the shower we all came to my house! because it was Saturday the 23rd, and sunday the 24th was Cory's and Angela's birthday!! so we went from one party, to another!! WOOOOO!

so we all got to my house, and Cory grilled some hamburgers and steaks and whatnot, and we all ate our fill, some of us more then our fill (i was stuffed...) and after a little time to digest it was time for cake and presents again!! woooh!! 3 cakes in one day, what an awesome day,, i had some baby shower cake, some of Angela's birthday cake and i made Cory a giant cookie for his cake, because he's more of a cookie person...

a 15 inch pizza pan and the cookie dough almost spilled over!! he he he...

PRESENTS!!! weeeee! Cory got a super soaker water gun that he promptly filled and emptied on everyone..

and me and the girls got some itty bitty squirt guns so we can defend ourselves...:D

and the girls were so cute giving daddy kisses and hugs and HUGE smiles for daddy's birthday..

anywho, the party wound down and everyone went home, and we were off to bed! Sunday was corys birthday, (and angelas) and we went to church, cory celebrated by wearing his kilt, sorry no pictures.. by the time i had a camera ready he had changed..:) soon,,, i will post pics of him in his kilt soon. he just wants the pictures done right, and since my camera is in the shop and all i have is my dinky point and click camera its not going to work as well, my flash on my nikon broked so its at the nikon people getting fixed!...*sigh* anywho.. sunday was a nice quiet day, we got home from church had some dinner and mostly napped the night away..
getting ready for monday! monday was memorial day! and we had plans! us and the finches and the Barretts (as if we hadnt gotten enough of each other...:D) went into ST. avold in France to an american military cemetery! It was a hot BEAUTIFUL day! we couldnt have asked for better weather! so we took the hour drive into france and got to the cemetery and thats when the fun began!

all in all it was an awesome weekend! we took the hour drive home after the cemetery closed,

and had roast and carrots and potato's that had been sitting in a hot crock pot since 10 that morning... it was perfect!! when i tried to lift the roast out it kept falling apart!! it was so tender!! MMMMmmmmm so yeah. dinner was a perfect way to end the day! we all ate and then it was time to go home all our hubbies had to work on tuesday so it was time for bed! so yeah, busy busy busy, but fun! corys another year older..he's so old..:D he he, we've also hit the 36 week mark for our baby, the doctor says honestly he can come at any point, he's about 6ish poinds and getting bigger everyday, we're just keepingour fringers crossed that he decides to come either before cory leaves on the 5th, or waits till he gets home on the 12th.. so keep your fingers crossed for us!! :) anywho. i've taken wnough of your time..:) love you all! we hope your safe and sound and you had as awesome of a weekend as we did!! LOVES!!

a fit test, a mattress, and star trek....oh my....

All in all we had another good week! and yes we're another week closer to baby brother getting here! YAY! we got the opportunity to go see Cory complete a fitness test for his the Air Force, he did very well taken the fact that it will probably be the last one he does while on Active Duty!! it was really fun and we discovered we were just the motivation he needed! He came and picked us up, and we met everyone at the gym, and while we waited for everyone who was testing to show up, I took the hint the girls gave me and we went and played in the grass, a good way to kill time I think..

The field was full of these little tiny daisy looking flowers, and hundreds of dandelions, they obviously hadn't mowed recently..:D

Kaylee payed more attention to their new kick ball then the flowers, which is ok, that's the point of the kick ball isn't it?


Nikoy enjoyed hunting for the elusive purple clovers, and heaven forbid i get a normal smile out of her.....


Kaylee would run, kick her ball,. stop and grab a dandelion and shake it and shake it till all the fluffs were gone, then she'd run and kick her ball again... at one point she grabbed a weed and tried to brush some hair out of her face with the hand holding the dandelion...if you look closely her hair is now covered in dandelion fluff..


When everyone finally showed up we went inside to start the test, the girls and I sat on the side lines and I watched Cory while the girls took turns throwing the ball at each other.

First off they had to do a waist measurement which Cory was happy to announce he'd lost the "sympathy" inches he gained for me..:) we've both gotten rounder since i got pregnant, the only difference is Cory's gotten the inches off already and i still have to wait a few more weeks.... *sigh* anywho, after he passed the waistline part.

Push-Ups where next, which was difficult for him to do unless he does them on his fists, but the Air Force regulations say you have to have your palms flat on the floor and fingures facing forward, because of him breaking his wrist a while back, he no longer has the full range of motion he needs to do that.. so these push ups hurt a bit.

anywho, he had to do 57 to max out this part of the test, but despite his difficulty he managed to do 60 push-ups in a minute, meaning he passed with flying colors!


meanwhile the girls were doing gymnastics.......


After the push-ups were the sit-ups!! and well, since he has NO difficulty's here he got 59 sit-ups, and the Air Force only wanted 53, a fantastic score again, I think he was showing off..:)

After the sit ups they get to run a mile and a half, and they have to do it quickly because the longer they take to run, the lower their score goes... so we left the gym and drove over to the track, and while Cory was stretching out for his run, Kaylee and Nikoy went rock hunting...

I don't quite understand their obsession with rocks, but it kept them busy...:)

So Cory got running, and the girls got cheering! and Cory got to have his own cheer squad! it was way cute, they were so proud of their Daddy..until about the 4Th lap...then they were just bored.....

but boy did he run.

and run...

and ran some more...:)

He ran the whole mile and a half in like 11 minutes it was great! last time a ran a mile ........ it took a lot longer then then that...but then again I'm like super slug, I'm so slow..

Unfortunately the end of the run signaled the end of the test, Cory passed it with flying colors! but we had to go back home, and he had to go back to work..:(...wah... so Cory dropped us off, and left... and we went on with our day... any who, we also learned this week that Cory will be in San Antonio either the 5Th or 6Th of June, and he'll be a week.... and that means that he'll be gone from week 37 to week 38... which worries me to no end, because Kaylee came at 38 weeks. and this little boy is getting so big the doctor says he'll be surprised if he stays passed 38 weeks... and if he shows up the 15Th or 16 that puts him just at 38 weeks, so that's what were praying for, Cory will have been home for a few days and hopefully over his jet-lag.. and we'll hopefully know whats in store for us in the near future!! any who.. after that fun news we continued on with our week and finally the weekend showed up!! Friday was fun we went and had dinner with the finches! AND WE GOT A NEW MATTRESS!!! and it hurts me, but only because I'm not used to it, and the fact that im as big as a whale doesn't help.... Cory LOVES it, but I'm reserving judgement for when im a bit..less pregnant... its a serta pillow-top mattress, and its absolute heaven for the first little bit, but i always wake up with a backache... and my hips hurting....but I'm a pregger what can i say? anywho.. Saturday we went swimming, which was way fun, i need to get cory to bring the little camera home next time we go swimming so i can take pictures of the girls in thier new swimming suits, they are WAY cute!! (thanks Nana!!) and im sorry but im not bringing my big Nikon to the swimming pool... unless i could like put a padlock on it..:) anywho, after swimming we went and saw the new star trek movie which was WAY awesome!! (if you haven't seen it, and don't want anything spoiled stop here and go away..otherwise continue.. ) I loved it! if your a true Trekkie, you may not like it because they kinda changed the timeline a little bit sorry if I've spoiled anything for you... and it does kinda erk me that they changed it, but it did make for an excellent story line, and the acting was fantastic, the action scenes were thrilling! and well, let me put it this way.. my four year old stayed awake through the whole movie, oohing and awing the whole thing, the pretty space scenes, and the big explosions... she loved it! so yeah, I'd recommend it..:) anywho, I'm going to leave you with a pretty pic of a dandelion..and the silliness of mine hubby..:)
