so we finally heard back from the MEB board, in novemberish cory went into MEB status and the whole process is supposed to take about 2 - 3 months... well five months later we finally got the results, and we were less then happy with them.. it appears the military wants to separate him. they'd give him an honorable discharge, and some disability pay, but we'd be starting back at square one. granted cory now has money for school, but we'd be uninsured, and with our girls and thier clumsiness, and a new baby, we NEED insurance. so we are now talking about what we want to do. we have decided that cory will be going to san antonio to try to appeal it and we will go on from there, and depending on what happens at the appeal, will determine our next move... they'll either return him to duty, and he'll train into a different job, or they'll decide the air force no longer needs him.. and when we know what they decide we'll make the next move.. so it could be a few weeks before he is called to san antonio. we're hoping he can at least take nikoy with him, that would make things easier on me at least.. although being separated will be hard on the girls.. they've never been apart for more then a few hours.. and cory could be gone a week, or more.. so we'll see!
we had a baby appointment yesterday, little shaun is doing fantastically! the doctor agrees with us, that with all that is going on the baby needs to be earlier then he's due, although theres not much we can really do about it. other then pray he's ready to be born two or even 3 weeks early, they are already estimating his wieght at fivish pounds, and with 6 weeks left till im 37 weeks, which is when the doctor feels he'll be ready to pop out, he could easily gain another 2 pounds, we're hoping for 3, and he'll be a happy healthy full term boy! so we'll see... after the appointment we went to the dermatology clinic and managed to get me some relief, i had what i thought was an enormous zit, as it turned out it was a very painful cyst, so they got rid of it, and it doesnt look like much right now, but it sure feels better.. hopefully within the next week or so it'll look better too..:D anywho, afterwards we went to dinner with some friends and then we went to the friends house to play some guitar hero......:) good stress relief.. we got home to discover we'd missed a few calls from family, so we spent the rest of the night talking to family members. so all in all we are ok. :) we're happy, we're healthy and as of right this second, thats what counts.....
