the stress is lessening... :)

first off i wanna say:

^^ i LOVE this face...it makes me giggle...^^^ anywho. so school is out for summer time enjoyment, the girls both "graduated" from kindergarten (Nikoy), and preschool (Kaylee) with straight E's....standing for either Excellent, or evil, i haven't decided which... :) my kids can be evil, as you will see in the pics below..... anywho, both are extra excited to be going to first grade, and kindergarten next year, i think I'm more excited then both of them because it will mean both are in full time school from 7 am to 3 pm!! YES!.......i love my kids....really i do...honest.. :)
anywho, so we spent the entire first week of summer cleaning house, doing laundry, and all around mucking things out.. and as a reward we spent 15 bucks on a cheap little pool that Odin will be unable to pop.... :) its not huge and they have to share, but they seem to have fun...

this is the face of fun, Cayden is truly my fish, he will sit in the pool from the moment he wakes up until bedtime if I'd let him he so loves the water. the girls kick and splash and he laughs and splashes them right back!..love it..

what better way to spend a 97 degree summer day then in the pool with popsicles.... :)

this is the evil we were talking about earlier....notice the relaxation on Nikoy's face as she lazily floats about in the water... notice the look of concentration on Kaylee's face as she takes aim with the water ball.........

this picture about sums it up for my kids.....blah!!!!!!!! so anywho, pool fun done, I'm now faced with the joys of trying to figure out how to change the pool water without turning my backyard into a swamp...seriously I'd sell my left pinkie for some grass....

anywho, so as we know i am 21 weeks pregnant now! *hooray for being half done!* and well its definitely been downright stressful.. morning sickness is all but gone, i still have the occasional race to the bathroom to lose the contents of my stomach..but seriously I'm 21 weeks now it should be gone!.. all in due time i hope.. we also learned at my very first ultrasound (at 16 weeks....) that the baby had a big black spot in his brain.. and they would be sending me to a specialist to see what it was and if it was dangerous... well after 5 weeks of stress and worry, i finally got to go see the specialist and after a fun filled ultra sound it was determined that:

he's very proud of himself... we have yet to agree on a name, we thought we had, but the name we chose doesn't seem to be growing on us so we are in the process of finding the perfect name... *yeah right*

here's his skeletal little face, the poor tech tried so hard to get his profile, but every time she got a good shot he'd turn his head and look at her, she thought it was kinda creepy like he knew we were watching him.. :) that's my boy!

kind of a skeewampusie face shot.... they were trying to capture his eye, you could see the details and stuff, it was cool..:)

well we've seen him on the inside here he is on the outside!! :)
my preggerness at 21 weeks and one day.. :D

taa-daa! so anywho, one of my other major stress points and its only because its hurting my vanity ( actually it just plain hurts!!) is my face, i get to "enjoy" the symptoms of "nodular-cystic acne" which is hormonally induced (pregnant!) and best treated when symptoms first appear, UNFORTUNATELY the only way to treat it is with icky medications that will do all sorts of unfix-able damage to the sweet little man who is currently residing inside my belly... and because I've decided that my son is more important then my face, i get to cope with the dry, itchy, burning redness, and quarter sized cysts all over my chin.....fun...the most i can do at this point is possibly use some tretinoin gel that will hopefully be getting prescribed to me next week sometime...that will relieve the itchy burning, but unfortunately wont do anything about the huge cysts, no for those i get to see the dermatologist to have them opened and drained........joy....

so here's my chin at 21 weeks, yes the big red discolored spots are cysts that are either growing or have been taking their dear sweet time shrinking.... left alone it takes 1-2 months for a cyst to finally either shrink and go away or get to the point where it can be less-painfully drained, therefore relieving pressure and letting my face touch my pillow again...*sigh* anywho.. enough feeling sorry for myself... :) as soon as this baby is freed I'll be put on anything from doxycycline to accutane (hopefully NOT accutane...) and it'll be gone and for the scarring i can get laser surgery for that...someday... Theres hope at least, my cloud does have a silver lining... :) and my hubby is definitely super supportive reminding me often how beautiful i am. so yeah. that's everything so far.. joy and joyfulness.. :D

wow......

-K-, so its been a bit..:).. my good news from my last post is still good news, baby is doing fine (if the morning sickness is any indicator)....the due date is estimated between the 19 and 21st of October!! YAY! which means it'll be perfect timing as far as birthdays go, Cory's birthday is in may, Caydens is in June, Kaylee's is July, i am august, Nikoy is September and #4 is October!!! perfect!!
any who.. so we managed to get some family pictures done, and thanks to my little tiny remote for my camera we managed to take about 180 pictures, and thanks to my kids only 5 were worth keeping.....OK ALL of them were worth keeping some were hilarious and will make GREAT blackmail pics for when the kids start dating....(evil chuckle) fingers in noses, itchy bums, mid yawns.. that sort of stuff... any who, we decided to take the pics at the temple grounds so we drove up to stone oaks and did family pictures at the San Antonio temple, much to the amusement of the temple workers, and temple goers, who got a fairly good chuckle at our attempt at making cayden look at the camera, without anything to draw his attention to it...nikoys getting distracted by EVERYTHING, and Kaylee refusing to smile......what we ended up with was a semi focused picture, with nikoys and Caydens faces photo shopped from other pictures......love photo shop... i learned a very important lesson... i LOVE taking pictures, but I'm much better at landscapes, and animals, and what not then my own kids.....any who. here's the results!! enjoy them!! I'm going to bed...its midnight.....I'm tired...g'night y'all!

Moroni, right where he should be.....:D

this boy is the CUTEST most HANDSOMEST in all creation... seriously can you resist that smile??

isnt my kaylee jaynn gorgeous? love my little lolli-pop head...

i swear everytime i blink this little girl has grown a foot, my beautiful Nikoy..

LETS PLAY CATCH UP!!!

WOW long time no see! so things have been going great lately! first I'd like to announce two new nephews, Cory's baby brother Scott, is the proud new father of cute and cuddly Casey Anderson!
born 1-1-11!! :) he was a fun way for Scott and his wifey to start the new year..:D

and on November 23rd, 2010, Cory's older sister Erin had teeny tiny Tommy!

he's not so teeny tiny any more, but he's still dang cute!! And guess who gets to be baby sitter while Erin is working her salon?? ME!!! YES!! i LOVE babies. anywho. so to bring you up to par I'll tell you all about our past few months, we spent Christmas in Utah with my family!! it was SSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun!! and i Miss them so much! i cant wait till my little brother and his wife go through the temple! we are hoping to spend Halloween with Grammy and papa rocks this year and hopefully we'll get to see my little brother his wife and their new baby go through the temple!! yes Lorin and Janel were married on Oct. 29Th 2010, and Janel is pregnant due in august! more babies!! so lots of fun, but back to Christmas! my mom has a beautiful fire place in her living room i couldn't say no too.

me and my girls, Gorgeous!^^^

my boys! yes Odin is part of the family too. Love his ears..

and all of us! yay!

we were lucky enough in Utah to get snowed on! the kids LOVED it! Nikoy and Kaylee would have spent the night in it if it hadn't gotten too cold!

Cayden loved it too, but he enjoyed the snow plowing the best i think, he yelled "WEEEE" the whole time!!

my roasty toasty man! i love him so...

my two favie mens! my Cory, and my "good yoo!"

my little siblings Rachel, Sam and Sierra, and Nikoy and Kaylee building "oatmeal the snowman"

we were also lucky enough on that journey to go to Idaho to visit my grandparent and aunts and uncles that i haven't seen in almost 5 years!! we went to this mini golf course (indoor of course) and my mom fell in love with the pirate captain, here they are planning their voyage!

sorry my camera doesn't work well with black-lights and no flash..:D

my gwirlys and my boy!

so now were playing in the snow after church. great stuff!

it was so deep! you like deep snow? go to Idaho, seriously Kaylee almost got lost...
so now I'm sad because I've realized in all the visiting and fun and merriment, i didn't get any pictures with my grandparents, or my aunts and uncles or cousins! not even Kaydee who was amazingly sweet enough to allow me and my messy babies to stay at her house! wah.. so I'll have to plan another Idaho trip to make up for lost opportunities...:D

after Idaho we were back in Utah and a little bored, so we went to a place called "jump on it" in Lindon, and it was SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun! it was basically a huge warehouse fill wall to wall with trampolines!! and the kids had a blast!!

even my sweet baby man! so yeah, since we got home, we've been keeping busy, Cory is working on his schooling, he nearly has his associates then its off to nursing school! me? well.......I'm me...the girls are doing so well in school! their teachers LOVE them, and they are learning soooo much! i have little geniuses i do... Caydens vocabulary has shot so much, he loves running through the house yelling "No!!" occassionaly he walks up to me gives me a sweet smile and says "cookie?" how can i say no? when we are ready to leave the house he runs to the door yelling "lets go! lets go!" and when Kaylee runs out to her bus he says "nuh-you bye!" which is Cayden for "love you" and anytime you ask him a question any question he answers with "why?"
he lets me know its time for bed or a nap when he hugs me and says "nigh-nigh". and he says so much more and is learning more everyday! I'm so proud of all my babies. so smart.
well on the 13 of February we got to attend the blessing of baby Casey and got some more recent family pics so enjoy these and i am out! its after midnight and I'm tired so.. enjoy!!

us!!

the whole Anderson family!!!

long time no see....

so as usual its been too long.. lots has been going on, birthdays (yes im OLDer now), Nikoy will be celebrating her 6th birthday on the 16th, so im getting ready for that, and besides all that, school has started...YES!!!! the girls love school, nikoys only complaint is that she has to get up sooo early, 6:30 in the morning! it munches! her bus stops out front at 7, so she gets to be up bright and early, kaylee has PM preschool, so she meets her bus at 11, then they get home around 3ish. yep..nikoys kindergarten is ALLLLL day! which is weird, because in utah kindergarten is half day too, and it doesnt start till like, 8:45, so, texas is all backwards..anywho, heres some pics of day 1 of school, yes im one of THOSE moms.. "bye sweetie! be good!!" *click click click* "love you!! " *click click* those clicks are from my camera, so you know...

Here is kaylee after school, and her teacher.

my silly goose, so dang cute!

Nikoy loves school, but i hear it daily "why cant i sleep in?" then saturday gets here a day that she can sleep in and what does she do? wakes up at 7 am.....dweeb.

shes so pretty, and yes she is getting freckles across her nose.. hopefully she wont have as many as i do, a little sprinkling across the nose is cute....
so along with the girls cory has started his fall semester as well, and though the girls have yet to bring home homework, cory has had enough for everyone in the state of texas.....so much that yes i admit, i've even had to help him with some typing, and stuff, i dont mind, i enjoy it (yes im weird leave me alone..) so despite corys homework haul at school he's doing well. i applied for a job at the hospital as the gift shop manager but they forgot to look at my availability before the interview and we discovered that there are days that i cant work (corys at school, i need to be home with cayden) that i would HAVE to work, so i bagged them, and decided i wont take a job unless they can work with my schedule, im not going to have cory rearrange his stuff, just so i can work, so until i find something along those lines, i'll just be a "lazy" (and by lazy i mean over worked and underpaid) house mom...
so onto my other good news, my puppy dog oden has grown so much its amazing! his fur is completely grown in, the only problem i have with him now is his digging, all three of my neighbors, (both sides and backyard neighbors) have dogs, and they all dig trying to get to each other, and its not a good idea because 2 of the 4 dogs (the people to the left of my house has 2 dogs) are like chihuahuas, or smaller (yes theres smaller dogs) and im afraid baby oden will eat them.. so we are trying to discourage the digging... its not working.. anywho, a few more pics, enjoy them!

me-n-oden. so cute..

i LOVE this pics, its so Oden..

he says "sup?"

so i few nights ago i let oden out and i see this little fluff ball by the side of the house and my first thought was "eek rat!" well i went and poked it and it flapped, so i decided since rats don't have wings it must be a bird, and i was right.. :)
so i took the little feller in to make sure he wasn't damaged, and he wasn't.. so i took him back outside and sat him in my little bird feeder and watched and sure enough within about 20 minutes he was surrounded by a bucket load of other birds, and he kinda fluttered up to a low hanging branch then fluttered his way up the tree, and disappeared...hopefully he found his nest and didn't get eating by raccoons...

so yeah, busy busy busy.. well i hope you've enjoyed my latest craziness, LOVE YOU ALL!!!

off to the rescue!!

so we decided a while ago that we wanted a dog. so we've been looking and looking and looking, we've seen more dogs then i care to count, and i was becoming a little upset when all my searching and i couldnt find the right one, there were so many i could have bought/adopted (whatever) and loved forever and ever, but i was looking for something that i NEEDED. so one let down after another and cory came to me and said "what is the dog you've always wanted?" easy answer.. a boxer.. for soooooooo long i've wanted a boxer. i have wanted a boxer for the better part of a decade. so he said, find a boxer. so i looked and i looked at a few various pets stores and shelters, and i found a few.. but i didn't have 1400 dollars to buy them with *sad* so i searched again and found someone with puppies up for adoption, and wouldn't you guess they were MUCH more affordable. but, there was a catch. the breeder let me know that the puppy had a small patch of mange and that i would have to get it taken care of if i wanted it. i figured it wouldn't hurt to at least look right? so we set a time and we met the breeder and the puppy, and i nearly cried, it was so heart breaking to see this puppy, who's small patch of mange covered most of his body. but there was a spark of hope and i knew this puppy needed me. so, we agreed just on the sheer fact that this dog NEEDED someone to fix him and love him. so allow me to introduce to you the newest addition to my family, Odin!

you can see his belly and his legs are mostly bald, about the only place left with "healthy" fur is right along his spine. he's covered in scabs, and we even pulled a bunch of ticks off of him. we brought him home and he was immediately put into a flea/tick bath, and scrubbed clean, and a vet was called to schedule an appointment.

as you can see, he was not well. 12 week old puppies are supposed to play. they are supposed to want to run and jump and chew on EVERYTHING!! we had toys and pork treats and he didn't want any of them. he just wanted to sleep. it was HEARTBREAKING.

he was also very bloated. his belly isnt supposed to be so large. he was also very dehydrated. I've never seen a puppy drink so much.

and he itched, oh the itch! he itched so bad he'd cry, and so he'd scratch but his skin is inflamed and irritated because of the mange, so he'd cry because it hurts to itch the itch, and oh i almost cried too!

and he itched some more! well friday came and we knew we had to do something before he scratched all his skin off, so we found a vet clinic that would see him NOW and we took him in. they decided that due to his horrible condition the previous owner had probably lied about his vaccines, and a skin scraping and blood test proved, my sweet puppy had various kinds of parasites, that had he been up to date on his shots, he shouldn't have had, and the mange test came out confused, in the skin scraping there was no sign of the parasite that causes mange, but that doesn't mean there isn't any, so they are treating him for mange anyways. they also updated his vaccines and gave him a de-wormer. so we got him home and he was very tired, and very itchy! so we went to find something that will maybe stop the itch until Monday, when he'll be getting a steroid injection that will stop the itch. we found nothing. i bought an olive oil hair goop that moisturizes his skin and helps give his fur a boost, but doesn't help with the itching. so we thought and thought, and finally an angel came in the form of a petco worker that said: "put socks on him." *light bulb* oh yeah..... so we did.. :D

i got a pair of Caydens mismatched socks that don't fit him anymore and wallah! problem solved!! and the funny thing is he seems to like them.... and the best part is he woke up this morning barking, not crying or whining, but actually barking, the toys we bought him have finally been chewed and the treats we got him have been snacked on! he was a whole new puppy this morning. he is no longer bloated, and he is soooooo dang playful. we went to the Y and when we came home i had my swim wrap on and he followed right behind me trying to get at the frills that hang from my wrap yapping and growling, it was so cute! and thanks to that oil I've been rubbing on him, we are actually seeing fur starting to grow back, and what fur he has left is shiny and pretty!

how can you not fall in love with that face? and yes he is chewing on a fox.... this toy is supposedly indestructible. and it seems to be his favie.

heres some of the scabs from the top of his head... he's still a thirsty boy. so that's what we have been doing the past few days, he has an appointment on Monday for a steroid injection to calm his itch, and then the following week he has another injection due for his 2nd set of mange shots, (there's 3 shots, all 2 weeks apart)
and the week after that more vaccinations. and the week after that part 3 of his mange shots, and by then if all goes as planned by the vets, his mange should be gone and we can start seeing more hair growth, and we should have a beautiful healthy boxer puppy! so....about 6 weeks! so. yeah. he's doing great, and seems to be getting better every day! we've been amazed at how quickly we've grown to love this dog. he's been ours for less the 3 full days and already he's family. so yeah. other then all the doggy drama we have been doing great! the girls start school soon so we get to finnish school shopping, cayden is so close to walking, i think he's just being lazy and doesnt want to walk.. bugger. Cory is finishing up his summer semester at his college and "cant wait" for fall semester to start so he can start losing his mind with all the classes he's taking. and me? well i'm busy with doggy drama, and considering getting a degree as a veterinary technician. we'll see. anyways.. LOVE YOU ALL!
