after christmas #1

-k- so we had a fantastic Christmas! we all got (most) of what we wanted..(cory is really hard to shop for here...) i havent had time to sit and download all the Christmas, unwrapping of the presents yet, so these pics will have to do until i find the will power.... we got these done in September, just before we found out i was pregnant! and yes we've been having the hardest time keeping them to ourselves so we could send pretty pictures to Nana, and Grammy, and Grampa! so these are our 2008 family pictures we get family pictures done EVERY year, and we are going to continue getting family pictures done EVERY year until I'm old and dead... so enjoy these..

LOOK!! my babies are bare foot! i thought it was awesomely adorable! i love baby feet, and my girls have some cute toesies!



my favies are the ones with me and Cory, the girls had fun saying, "mommy watched the camera!" and "daddy your not smiling!" it was way cute watching them play photographer, the real photographer guy thought they were adorable!


and here are my monsters! we were a little disappointed that the photographer stuck nikoy in that pose again, i forget photographers like that pose, and we have a hundred family pics of nikoy in that pose, unfortunately we were to awestruck by the girls good behavior to say anything...

see? here's that pose again! i would have preferred to have her sitting up, but again, i was awe struck by the weirdness of my daughters behaving....

Kaylee turned out ADORABLE as usual! and i LOVE the bare feet! i love her smiles, they reach all the way up to her eyes! its so cute! her laugh is infectious... and no.... there is no cure...

so yeah those were the grandparents Christmas presents! normally i would have gotten them something a little more......interactive, but its been 2 years since they've seen the gran girls, and both Nana and Grammy LOVE getting pictures so there was no complaints..:) (that i know of......he he ) so yeah.. any who, we brought in a pretty good haul this Christmas! :D, we totally over spent as usual, top ramen and mac-n-cheese for the rest of the month... ( sherry could have mac-n-cheese for the rest of her life though so no complaints in her area..) but i think out of all the gifts given, sherry got the best stuff! she got awesome fun scrap booking stuff from her mom, a WII fit from Nana, and from Cory, she FINALLY got a new tablet! it came with a wireless mouse and a mouse-pen! it's a mouse, but it's like holding a pen!! FANTASTIC!! and with the fantastic mouse pen, sherry is able to draw fantastic things!! of course, i have to get used to it, and learn it so give me time...(why does sherry keep switching from first person the third person? who knows?) so yeah.. these were the first drawings i did with my mouse-pen!

this is the !ST drawing, no paper, no erasers! no colored pencils! just a click of the mouse-pen! and about and hour and a half of my time!!EEEEEEEEEEEE! it was so fun!

this is me getting better..:) its a bit "flamboyant" for a dragon, Cory chuckles and says "fly away ya fairy!" so its my fairy dragon...flamboyant or not i think its grown on me.. i didn't like it at first, but the more i look at it the more i like it..i also got some super silky Victoria secret "love spell" body butter! I've been wanting it for a LOOOOONG time, but unfortunately I'm to stingy to pamper myself... so Cory got me the whole set! the girls got some awesome bed sets from Nana! and some fun things from Grammy and grampa, as soon as i get around to it, I'll take pics and post....:).... they got HUGE teddy bears from Santa, and some way cute Disney princess barbies from mommy and daddy (among other things!) but i think the biggest hits so far is the flash lights from Grammy and grampa... and the BEAUTIFUL dresses from Nana! the girls cant wait till church on Sunday to wear them. nikoy has wanted to wear hers around the house, but I've told her not only no, but absolutely not, (she cant drink water without finding a way for it to stain her new outfit). Cory got some awesome video games, and a very comfy new under Armour jogging suit, and a new tool box since his tools have long outgrown the one he has now..:) so yeah.. that's our Christmas so far.. as soon as i have the will power to sit and re size all 15 pictures i took...( only 15????whats wrong with me??) I'll update the "after Christmas" blog...:) any who, i hope you all had a fantastically fantastic christmas as well! we love you all!!

beautiful slow song.. go hear it youll enjoy it. not much new going on still...just countin down the days till christmas!! i think im more excited then the girls are..:) yeah they get to open cute little doors on the fun calendar and eat a chocolate every day till christmas but, im excited for the presents!! :) and the turkey,,, and the ham.. and the fun festivities!! we'll be doing a christmas eve evening over at my dear merritts house, we'll watch movies play games talk about the joys and excitement of christmas, then we'll come home and open our fun christmas eve presents (cory's going to LOVE his....i hope...) and then we'll attempt to get some sleep. and yes we're going to be sleeping in christmas morning.. last yer we were up at 7 am doing presents but what with the "joys" of pregnancy i dont think i'll be a very happy person at all hours christmas morning so we'll be sleeping in..:) make myself wait even longer...:) anywho.. so those are our plans! hope you all have fantastic fun awaiting you!!! hello all! so not much to report this time around, but still some fun! cory broke down and bought sherry a HUGE jar of those delicious HUGE pickles! like the ones you can get at movie theaters? only bigger..:) these things are HONKIN huge!! and sherry loves em..

kaylee has gotten into the habit of sleeping in the oddest places and in the oddest possitions. and sherrys gotten most of them on camera!! MWA HAHAHAH! black-mail pictures for when she's old enough to date.....

yes...she is STANDING UP and resting on my rocking chairs ottoman. it wouldnt normally work except she's got the couch backin her bum up... whatevers comfortable....

yes she is sitting up... how easy it it to lay down? up on the comfy couch in her princess blankie? no thanks, the floor is good...

this is by far the wierdest.... not on the carpet, not in her bed, nope, under her picnic table on the HARD TILE floor.....UNDER the table.....crazy..

so we had an appointment today and it was great! i met my real docter and he is awesome! he just happens to be in the neighbor ward! so he's LDS! YAY! that means if i end up having the baby here in germany, i'll have no worries.:) so yeah fantastic!
look we got LOTS of pictures..they are mostly the same so i only posted the ones with obvious differences.. look,, baby legs :) he he he

this one measured the baby at about 2.75 inches long and about .7 ouces!! not even a pound yet!!!! so little!!

the docter liked this pic, its kind of an odd angle but you can see the nose..:)

so yeah, all is going great! baby is fantastic! and still going strong if my morning sickness is any indication... my docter agreed with my mother,"as long as theres morning sickness you know theres a healthy baby" ( at least for most women, there are the lucky few who arent bothered by the "joys" of starting your day praying to the porcelin goddess... (which is a nice way of saying dry heaving/vomiting.......) so yeah. so far nothing new, we've got our immediate family christmas shopping done, now we need to work on getting the packages finnished and sent out! OY lots to do! i love christmas!!:) anywho.. we loves you all! be safe! be happy!

-k- so I've discovered a way to help pass the time, and make me forget about the "joys" of morning sickness, and that is viva pinata trouble in paradise.:). no but seriously I've decided it would be fun to illustrate a few of the lesser known Christmas carols! and i know a lot are about baby Jesus and his birth and shepherds and wise men and all that, so the first song i chose is all about that, the other will be christmassy in a not forgetting the reason for the season way, but keeping it alive still..:) so the first one is candlelight carol by John Rutter, if you haven't heard it before go to you tube its a beautiful song!! my favie is the Michael Crawford version, unfortunately i haven't been able to find a computer friendly version of it... sorry.. any who, here's the first song!!

-k- so its been a bit i know im sorry, i've been either busy or dry heaving.. (gotta love the morning sickness...and the afternoon sickness, and the early evening sickness...) honestly its not so bad as it was with nikoy and kaylee, but its still pretty bad! anywho, so we've had a recent appointment nothing to report, baby's doing fine so far! still due on the 22nd of june, so just waiting....*sigh* so on the 22nd(ish) of november we had a thanksgiving work party for cory, i decided to buy nikoy a new shirt and much to my dismay, she looks like a teenager!! WAAAAH! she walked into the hanger and every little boy had to chase her around, it was very very irritating, and im not ready for my baby girl to need daddy to chase the boys away!!! SHE"S FOUR!!!!!! so yeah, i got a taste of the future and i didnt like it.. although it was fun teasing her about her new "boyfriends" and laughing at her responce of " mom, they're just friends..." oh boy.... it starts..

this is her new shirt, i think im going to take it back and get her a spongebob shirt....oy..

kaylee was beautiful in a shirt merritt gave her. and we learned she's very pretty in brown!! what am i gonna do!! i was hoping for another 12 or 13 years before i had to worry about anything!
so anywho.. the 23rd (ish) we woke up to our frist snowfall, it wasnt much, but the girls wwere ECSTATIC!!!! we went outside and learned we need to find some boots for kaylee and some gloves for both... it was COLD!

so thanksgiving rocked hard core! Cory and i woke up early shoved the 18.6 pound bird in my itty bitty german oven.. thankfully it fit! and went about cleaning the house, and being sick..(darn mornings....) and much to our dismay kaylee woke up with a 101 degree fever, and not much energy... so she stayed in bed most the day..

MMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmerritt brought her divinly delicious ham.. it was SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good! sherry LOVES ham...the turkey got done after what seemed like forever, and cory got to use his new toy to carve it. yes we caved in and got an electric knife, it made things a lot easier...

finally we ate, we were hoping to eat at around 2 but unfortunatly it was almost 4, so we were about an hour later then we thought we'd be, between the carving of the turkey, the mashing of the tatoe's, and the messing up of the gravy, we managed to add an hour.. but it was all worth it when we ate! the girls enjoyed thier food, kaylee even managed to wake up for it..

yes there are 2 sides to the table. the girls just chose not to have any elbow room...

we got done eating...took pictures of the mess, and went to digest on the couch..

and do the mortal kombat VS DC universe thing, yes that is a mortal kombat person fighting with the joker from batman.. just wait..


it's hard to see, but you'll neer guess who corys fave charecter in the game is... i'll give you a hint, he's super and he's a man....

after I felt i had digested enough i pulled out dessert, cory and i made 3 pies, chocolate, banana, pumpkin, and i made my first apple pie!!

isnt it beautiful?? i've made cherry pies, i've made pudding pies up the wazoo, but apple? this was my first and i must say it was DIVINE!!

Angela brought some awesome cookies on a stick, it was a big hit with the chiluns!

jerome liked the pumpkin pie the best.. he liked it so much in fact he thought cory should have a taste....


Kaylee had to be woken up for dessert, she didnt seem to happy,

and she didnt much care for the mouthfull of whipped cream she got, but she enjoyed her cookie...

so thankgiving ended, it was awesome and fun despite kaylee being sick, she was even more sick the next day. friday morning she woke daddy up to the smell of vomit...mmmmmm what a way to start the day, so she was coddled all day. and friday being the day after thanksgiving, we had to keep with tradition and decorate! yes, im one of THEM!!! theres just something soothing about having a tree in my living room..

so i sat and fanned out the branches of my beautiful fake tree, while cory did the first pain of christmas, untangling the lights and deciding which one work and which ones dont....

i pulled out my little tree and let nikoy sit and decorate it, she had a blast!



kaylee slept through it...

when we were done decorating the tree's we had to sit for the photo op..

and then it was bed time! saturday was a busy day for us, we woke up at o dark thirty and got dressed and ready to head to the frankfurt temple with angela and jerome. it was angela's first time going through and it was so fun to be her escort! she did fantasticly and didnt seem to panick nearly as much as i did my first time..:)
the beautiful couple is going to utah for the holidays (IM SO JEALOUS!!!!!!) and they are getting sealed in the temple while they are there, CONGRATS ANGIE AND JER!!


so yeah thats been my month....its had it moments, high and low, but mostly high..:) so yeah, sorry its so long, hope you didnt use up too much of your day! LOVES!!

-k- so i forgot to mention that i am due on june 22nd 2009...:) which is awesome because cory's birthday is in may, this baby is june, kaylee is july, i am august, and nikoy is sept......WOOO way to plan!!
