well we finally had a day that was warm and sunny! tuesday the 1st of april hit a high of 64!!! and today, being wednesday hit a hig of 50.......so it's chillyish today. but at least we got a break from the cold yesterday, im not at all ready to give it up! anyways i woke up on tuesday to the sound of noise... as usual, and got a surprise from nikoy who'd had her room cleaned to the point it was almost ready to vacuum! so i helped her finnish and as a reward we rode our bikes to the play gorund down the road.. we had so much fun riding bikes, i didnt ride my bike because well i dont got one.. :) and anyways, if i did have one, who'd hold the camera?
Kaylee got so excited when she saw the playground she abandoned her bike and ran for it! all the way down the hill, thankfully there were no trips, or bonks and very minimal bruising...
nikoy was content to ride her bike all the way down the trail, off roading is fun!!once on the play ground it was non-stop fun! esspescially for mommy who had to run every where to keep Kaylee from jumping off of everything... she's such a little dare devil! it's frightening!

Kaylee loves the slide! her favorite is the big twisty slide, though, she hasnt quite figured out how to stay sitting..
gotta turn around... almost...
AWESOME!!! yay she did it! like i said, minimal briusing... nikoys an old pro by now.... :)
we also enjoy driving the cars.. (thankfully the biulders of this palyground "forgot" to add wheels and an engine....)

We had so much fun at the park we cant wait till saturday! it's suposed to be warm again and this time daddy can come with us!

we love the swings... ok, i love the swings, i stick them both in a swing and la-ta-da! all i have to do is stand there and give a push every now and then... beats chasing Kaylee away from the firemans pole...

Nikoy found her elephant! Now what little girl can go out and ride an elephant whenever she wants?? honestly.... Kaylee enjoys the hedgehog, it's kinda pokie, but she still enjoys it!
then it was time for the merry go round, I had to chase a spider away from it first but that was ok, it didnt get to close, and thankfully, unlike the last spider i screamed and ran away from, this one didnt chase me....
after the park we decided to go see the signs of spring, the little tree in front of our biulding is blossoming! and the girls wanted to go see the blossoms! Nikoy got so excited watching the tree, she saw some bees! bees make honey and nikoy LOVES her some honey!

Kaylee wasnt very fond of the bees.. she preffered to get back on her bike and go play..
so that was our day at the park, hopefully we'll get to go again, we've been pretty busy lately..doing what im not sure, but the week has FLOWN by!i swear it was wednesday yesterday.... and well now it is wednesday, and it's already april!!! where's february and march go? oy.. i love it when i cant keep up with the time...and date.... oy.. anywho.. all is well on our end! i hope all is well on yours! we love you all and miss you so much! everyone be safe! enjoy the pictures! and TAKE LUCK!!......he he he..

happy hunting!

so yesterday was Easter! and how much fun that was! we went to Ben and Merritt finches house and had some delicious brisket!!! oh...it was so good, my compliments to the Merritt who made it.. :)... any who. after the dinner we put the girls into Nikoys best friend, Aryka (Erika for those who get confused easily..:) ) room, and we hid about 60 eggs around the living and dinning room, we had enough eggs that the girls each found about 20!!

Kaylee had so much fun! she had to have daddy help a little bit, but for the most part she found the eggs all by herself, all daddy had to do was remind her to put the eggs in the bag....

during the egg hunt, Rulon, an adorable little 10 month old sat and ate Oreos.....gotta love the Oreos.....

as the egg hunt ended we all sat to count our eggs, whew,,,what a haul!!

after the egg hunt they got to make the excitement last by learning they have Easter baskets to find too! so they searched and to their amazement, right behind the curtains, were all three baskets! they had so much fun rustling through their baskets!

well after the fun and excitement we all sat and watched Sherry's Easter basket treat, which was the movie enchanted! despite his dislike for it Cory still got it for her!! ain't he sweet? any who. that was our Easter, we hope you enjoyed yours as much as we enjoyed ours!! oh and on a different subject, we went and watched the movie "Horton hears a who" starring the hysterical Jim Carrey and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good! i highly recommend it! fun for the whole family!! he he he.....long live Jim....happy Easter and much love! from Nikoy, Cory, Kaylee, and Sherry

and Ben, Aryka, Merritt and Rulon Finch...
enjoy your eggs, and chocolate and treats...

we love you all!take some time to play!!!! :) he he he..(thank you grammy and grampa for the fun Easter games!!)

sherry's rantin and ravin...

does anyone happen to know of a way to shorten legs? seriously, do you have any idea how hard it is to find long enough pants if your taller then 5'5"? 2 inches.. i seriously only need two inches longer and they'd fit fine!!!! but no!! you cant find sweats or yoga pants or lounge pants with an inseam longer then 33 inches... impossible.. and the few that are, are crushed velvet, or so baggy they could be used as parachutes!! or super skinny tight, or white... i don't wear white pants.....its sooooooo irritating! AAAARRRGGGGHH. oh my favorite is when you finally find a pair of really cute lounge pants, that fit great, and cover your ankles....you wear them, and your daughter wipes her nose on them.. or spills ketchup on them....or smears her chocolaty fingers across them, so you wash them, and just because you've become overly paranoid, you even air dry them, then you put them on... and they've still shrunk!!! either that or I'm still a growing girl...in which case SOMEONE SHOOT ME!...i giggle because while searching online all the stores seem to think that a 33 inch inseam is tall.......I've decided, i have a sewing machine, i hate sewing, but I'm going to have to cope.. because making my own pants is going to be the only way to make them fit....anyone have any cute patterns? oh mommy, i know you do....:)
